I PHOTOGRAPHED MY FIRST WEDDING IN JUNE OF 2007.

Twelve years later, a lot has changed. Weddings have changed, my style and the way I capture and document my clients love stories have changed, and photography itself has changed…but the reasons behind why I continue to photograph weddings has remained the same. I’m in love with love.

Wedding photography for me is more than just showing up, posing people and clicking a button, I’m in love with the raw emotions, traditions, and meaning they represent for my clients. I’m in love with the fluidity of shooting to create and tell a story and crafting images that are as powerful and moving as your love is what drives me as a creative.

I’ve had the privilege of traveling the globe as a destination wedding photographer and I’ve shot some truly spectacular weddings, but after nearly 300 weddings, what I love the most is the simplicity of genuine love and happiness and visually narrating those stories for my clients with my lens.

Finding a wedding photographer was no small task but when we met with Rachel we instantly knew she was the one to capture our special day because of how comfortable we felt with her. During our engagement session Rachel worked with my husband and I neither of us had much experience in front of the camera but she gave just enough direction to not feel like a deer in the head lights while still maintaining and capturing our true personalities. On our wedding day Rachel  and her team never missed a detail. Our guests were blown away even before they ever say any of our wedding photos. I’m so glad we chose her to capture our special day.
