Hannah + Luke | Say You'll be Wine, Forever

The pandemic fall found me cleaning out my hard drives and scrolling endlessly through social media (is there any other way?) when I suddenly saw the post announcing Hannah and Luke’s wedding anniversary.

Their vineyard wedding seemed like a lifetime ago. Masks? Social distancing? Guest count limitations? The only trepidations Hannah and Luke had on their wedding day a year ago was whether or not the rain would hold off.

Ten acres of rolling vines and panoramic views of a peaceful preserve were the perfect canvas for Hannah and Luke’s “I Do’s.” 7 Vines Vineyard and Winery in Dellwood, MN was a venue that beckoned curiosity of the lush greenery and endless opportunities to create something truly magical.

Hannah and Luke’s day started with a little rain (a sign of good luck in 2019), but by the time we started photos, the rain was gone. At the beginning of the day, I asked both Hannah and Luke separately what they were most excited about, and together they answered the first look. Documenting it, I understood why. Just being submerged in the raw sentiments and passionate, carefree devotion between Hannah and Luke as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day was palpable.

Throughout the day, we weaved through the vineyard for photos of the two of them, and I kept noticing the cute glances, sweet smiles, and adoring looks between these two.

Friends and family from around the United States and even from the far outskirts of Thailand gathered to wish the sweet couple well. The wedding ceremony and reception were flawlessly orchestrated by Laurie LeClair and the Seven Vines Vineyard crew, who were graciously accommodating.

They drank, they dined, and they danced under a canopy of chandeliers with the kind of carefree abandon. I hope we can celebrate again in the future, whenever Covid is over, and couples can go back to having receiving lines, booking dates, and giving out hugs. Until then I hope Hannah and Luke’s wedding brings a little celebration to your present.
